Barista Assistant
(20-40 hours/wk.)
Location: Harriman, Tennessee
The Barista Assistant acts as the glue that helps hold the entire operation together!
About you:
We seek someone outgoing, vibrant, eager, and willing to learn about coffee. You must be excited and happy to serve coffee and other drinks to our community! You are also looking for a long term employer, and building a relationship that will grow and expand.
About the role:
This role is typically a probationary position. We want to make sure you love the work. Most BAs graduate into Shift Leads.
You may be washing blender jugs between drinks, or keeping the cup stacks nice and full. Replacing paper towels in the bathrooms. Sweeping. Prepping drinks. Restocking the milk fridges. Cleaning windows. Lifting boxes. Taking customer orders, and assisting them with anything. Turning up the music and rocking out to your new hip coffee home while you dance with the vacuum.
Hours: Plan on shifts Sunday-Saturday. Actual hours and days you are available can be discussed in the interview process.

Don’t worry about coffee experience, but it does help if you have it.
Otherwise, we are looking for people with experience in:
Customer service
Food serving/handling
Order taking/accuracy
Cash handling
We are also looking for:
Flexibility and availability (we love hearing “I can work whenever!)
