About us:
We believe a lot of things, namely that small towns are a desert for good coffee. Many towns no longer have a community hub - where people can meet, exchange ideas, or get work done.

We want to change that, by focusing on the same small towns that have been habitually passed over by corporate coffee.

Gather Coffee Co. has expanded to 5 cafes across two states, and a commercial roastery in less than 4 years. This is the year that brings not only additional expansion regionally, but also nationally with locations opening in Texas, Arizona, and other states.

We are seeking a highly dedicated and creative individual that wants to become a central part of this growth as we also expand online and into new mediums such as video and social expansion.

For now, the role will be more of a part-time basis, but the future (12-18+ months out) will most likely require more of a full-time commitment. We welcome passionate moonlighters that understand they will most likely want (read: need) to come over and do great things full time.

About the role:
As a senior and trusted member of the leadership team, you will consult on expanding existing marketing strategies and also growing new verticals. You will have a solid understanding of proven strategies as well as emerging opportunities in technology and marketing formats.

You are a doer, a dreamer, and someone that thinks creatively and strategically. We’ll make mistakes together, and fail fast when that F-word comes a-knocking.

Not only digitally-minded, we are also seeking someone that can support brand alignment between online, in-store, multi-store, and e-commerce dimensions. That may include more analog approaches, especially in small towns.

Last, and definitely not least, we are looking for support in a national expansion and identifying ways to support locally-owned Gather Coffee locations in other states, making their local strategies relevant and successful yet also consistent.

Other focus areas include:

• Establishing written brand guidelines

• Expanding and formalizing social media guidelines

• Ensuring brand consistency across the biz

• Experimenting in developing high quality video content

• Opening new channels for marketing Gather.

• Organizing & inventorying media assets into a DAM

Location:
Primary work location: Oneida, Tennessee.
Secondary work location: Remote
