Finca Del Oro: Finca Mirador
These very coffee cherries will be served across Tennessee and Kentucky soon.
Finca Mirador has always held a special place in our hearts. Not just owned by an amazing friend and family, not just set in some of the most incredible scenery you’ll ever see. And, not just a producer of an absolutely incredible coffee. But it all comes together across 14,000 coffee plants across many hectares of land in the Andes mountains.
We attended a coffee cupping of Fabian’s coffees at Harvest Colombia in Ibague, Tolima.
Gather Coffee is pleased to announce our very first dedicated coffee supplier - Finca Mirador. In partnership with Harvest Colombia - a wonderful company that is serving a very important niche - we will be able to source our coffee direct.
We will be purchasing the entire annual yield of this farm.
What does this mean for the producer - Fabian Jose Hernandez? We have accepted his price with no negotiations. This price is a sizable increase over the cost he would have received on the open market. It also means less work for him, as well as the uncertainty of pricing volatility.

What does it mean for Gather? We have an incredible organic quality coffee where we really know the producers and their family. We have stood in their kitchen, around a fire, watching torrential rains together. We have enjoyed Aguila Lights under the Colombian sun. We have touched his coffees in the drying beds, and our kids have played together. We also gain the exclusivity - this fantastic coffee is only available at Gather Coffee Company.

We can’t wait to see where this partnership continues to go.
