Rio del Cuervos (Chaos of Ravens)

from $18.00
sold out

When Scott commuted into downtown Portland, Oregon, there were a few times per year where the city seemed overrun with ravens. Their squawks echoed off the concrete jungle of the urbanscape. They flew from tree to tree in random zig zags, to chat with other ravens and to cause general mischief.

I remember all of this coming together, typically in the chilly PNW winters, and the chaos that ensued.

Rio del Cuervos is our first dark roast, and is meant to pay tribute to these wonderful, charismatic birds.

The subtle notes of berries, dark chocolate, and currant will bring calm to those dreary, weak and weary days.
